This virtual two-hour multi agency event will share learning from both local and national child reviews. There will be presentations from a Lead Reviewer, practitioners, Safeguarding Leads and Domestic Violence and Abuse experts. Please apply to attend this event if you currently work with children and/or their families in Manchester. Events are organised by locality (North, South and Central) please apply for this event if you work in the North locality.
To share and identify the key themes from local and National child reviews.
Understand the role of practitioners in the review process.
To provide an update on Manchester`s Domestic Violence and Abuse Strategy
To introduce Manchester's response to Domestic Violence and Abuse - Safe and Together
Explain the functions of the Manchester Safeguarding Partnership
Outline the criteria and purpose of Safeguarding Practice Reviews
Identify the learning and recommendations from local and national reviews.
Awareness of DV&A Strategy and where to access further information.
Complete a MSP Action Plan
